PHOTO RELEASE: High-Speed Rail Completes Fargo Avenue Overcrossing in Kings County

KINGS COUNTY, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) is kicking off the new year with another completed high-speed rail structure. The Fargo Avenue overcrossing opened to traffic today in Kings County. The overcrossing is east of State Route 43 and the city of Hanford.

NEWS RELEASE: California High-Speed Rail Investment Contributes Billions in Economic Benefit

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) today released its 2024 Economic Impact Analysis Report highlighting substantial benefits to the state and underscoring the project’s role in stimulating economic growth, as work continues to build the nation’s first high-speed rail system. “The benefits of investing in a high-speed rail system continue to ripple through the California economy,” said Authority CFO Jamey Matalka.

Meetings of the Board of Directors and of its committees are noticed and conducted in compliance with the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act. Board of Directors meetings are generally held once a month. Special Board meetings may be held as needed to address Authority business, but those meetings will be announced ten days in advance in compliance with the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act. View the Board Meeting Schedule and Materials.
