Design Services for Historic Fresno Station Seismic and Accessibility Renovations

The Design Services for Historic Fresno Station Seismic and Accessibility Renovations procurement will result in an architectural and engineering (A&E) contract for design services to make all required seismic and accessibility improvements to existing historic structures at the Southern Pacific Railroad Depot, located in Fresno, California. The contract generally consists of investigating the existing structures and creating a design to bring them into compliance with relevant regulations consistent with recommendations provided by the California Division of the State Architect’s reports for seismic, life safety, and accessibility. The contract also includes support services to the Authority during the anticipated procurement of a construction contractor to complete the work, and during the course of construction. This contract includes compliance with the California High-Speed Rail Authority’s Small Business Program.
