History of the I Will Ride Program

I Will Ride was born in California’s Central Valley, sparked by a group of visionary college students passionate about advancing mobility options and supporting the development of the state’s high-speed rail system. The founders recognized that this transformative investment in California’s high-speed rail system would significantly enhance regional connectivity, create abundant economic opportunities, and provide a sustainable, eco-friendly transportation alternative for the 21st century.

Since its founding, I Will Ride has connected thousands of students to resources and opportunities with California high-speed rail. Through construction tours in the Central Valley, outreach events, classroom presentations, and networking opportunities, the program offers unique and exciting opportunities, providing firsthand exposure to California’s high-speed rail system and the people shaping its future. If you’re passionate about sustainability and the future of transportation, we invite you to join us.
