What’s Next Series: Indirect Cost

The California High-Speed Rail Authority’s (Authority) Small Business Support Office along with the Audits Office will host a virtual workshop for the What’s Next Series called “Indirect Cost” on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The workshop will help sub-consultant and sub-contractors understand the role of indirect cost in budgeting and cost recovery, as well as the elements of developing an indirect cost rate.

The Workshop will cover:

Basics of preparing an Indirect Rate Schedule
How Indirect Cost Rates work
Common challenges and how to address them

NOTE: This workshop is specifically for small business owners and accountants.
