Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for Track and OCS
The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) will be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure a contract for Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for Track and Overhead Contact System (OCS) construction.
The purpose of this procurement is to select a contractor to provide preconstruction services and construction work for track and overhead contact system installation on the 171-mile Early Operating Segment of the California High-Speed Rail System. The work will be delivered using a construction manager/general contractor delivery method that incorporates partnering, in-depth communication, motivation for innovation, and progressive project development of construction packages and prices using open-book pricing methods. The Track and OCS CM/GC contractor will work collaboratively with the Authority and the Track/OCS Design Services consultant, and other Interfacing Contractors to deliver the work.
