Project Review

The Authority is undertaking a comprehensive review of its design criteria, scope, cost methodologies, and project sequencing to ensure the most cost- and time-effective delivery of the system.

Under new leadership, a bottom-ups fresh look at all aspects of the project was initiated in fall 2024 to identify opportunities for refinement and improvement. The results of this review will shape the future of the project, influencing how construction proceeds across multiple segments and ensuring that the system is built in the most financially responsible and efficient manner possible.

The Authority will complete its comprehensive review by summer 2025 and provide a supplemental Project Update Report that will include a detailed overview of all refinements and adjustments and serve as the foundation for the next phase of project development.
