HSR25-15 – As-Needed Weed Abatement Services (Central Valley)

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure a contract for as-needed weed abatement services in the following counties: Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kern, and Kings (Central Valley). The purpose of this procurement is to enter into an agreement with a contractor that will provide the Authority with as-needed weed abatement services in the following counties: Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kern, and Kings (Central Valley).

The schedule for this procurement is as follows:

  • IFB available to prospective bidders: Thursday, October 30, 2025
  • Mandatory Virtual Pre-Bid Conference: Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time
  • Deadline to submit written questions: Due Monday, November 10, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time
  • Responses to written questions posted by the Authority: Thursday, November 13, 2025 by 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time
  • Bids Due: Wednesday, November 19, 2025, by 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time
  • Bid Opening: Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time
  • Proposed Start Date: Friday, May 1, 2026, or upon approval
