Meet The Prime: AECOM-Fluor

The California High-Speed Rail (HSR) Business Program along with the Prime Consultant AECOM Technical Services, Inc. and FLUOR Enterprises, Inc. (AECOM-FLUOR team) will host a “Meet the Prime” event on Monday, February 5, 2024, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. AECOM-FLUOR team is looking for certified Small Businesses (SB), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The guest speaker will discuss current progress towards achieving Small Business goals and opportunities available for subconsultants.

The Workshop will cover:

  • An overview of the HSR Small Business Program
  • Small Business certifications accepted by HSR
  • Navigating the HSR Small Business webpages

Attendees will learn:

  • An overview of AECOM-FLUOR scope of work and approved Work Plan
  • How PDS solicits and awards contracts to SB/DBE/SVBE firms
  • How to get on PDS’ database of interested firms
  • Current opportunities on the PDS contract.

NOTE: Interested firms should prepare company capability statements that include current license and certification status, and their area of interest. This information will allow AECOM-FLUOR team to evaluate each firm’s capacity to provide services that align with opportunities. Firms who align with open opportunities will be requested to provide resumes for available staff which will be evaluated by the AECOM-FLUOR resourcing team.
