The California High-Speed Rail (HSR) Small Business Program along with the Prime Contractor Dragados Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV) will host a “Meet the Prime” workshop from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on April 17, 2024.  DFJV is looking for certified Small Businesses (SB), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) participation. The guest speaker will discuss current progress and opportunities available for subcontractors.

The Workshop will cover:

• An overview of the HSR Small Business Program   
• Small Business certifications accepted by HSR  
• Navigating the HSR Small Business webpages   
• Registering your business in Connect HSR 
• An overview of DFJV’s CP2-3 Project 
• How DFJV Identifies and contacts Small Businesses 
• Project Preparedness 
• Contract opportunities on DFJV’s CP2-3 Project

NOTE: Interested firms should prepare company capability statements that include current license and certification status, and their area of interest. This information will allow DFJV to evaluate and make proper introductions to DFJV procurement teams.
