Legislative Affairs

The California High-Speed Rail Authority’s Legislative Affairs Office administers the Authority’s legislative program at the state and federal levels. The Legislative Affairs Office manages the Authority’s relationships with and serves as the primary point of contact with the California Legislature, Congress and federal executive agencies. The Legislation Branch within the Legislative Affairs Office monitors and analyzes legislation, budget issues, and regulatory actions at the state and federal levels that may impact the Authority. The Grants Management Branch provides oversight and management of the federal funding and required state match, ensuring the Authority’s compliance with grant agreements.
