Balcony Demolition and Door-to-Window Conversion Services

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) has issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to procure a contract Balcony Demolition and Door-to-Window Conversion Services. The purpose of this procurement is to enter into an agreement with a Contractor who agrees to provide the Authority with all labor (including administrative costs), tools, materials, equipment, and supervision; provide applicable planning, protective measures, and reporting; and pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, travel costs, and other costs incidental to the work to perform balcony demolition services, balcony access door removal services, balcony doorway reframing services, 59.5 inches wide by 47.5 inches high window installation services, wall re-painting services, and applicable backfilling services at 1309 North Golden State Blvd., Fresno, CA 93728 (Work Area).

The schedule for this procurement is as follows:

  • IFB Release: Thursday, March 28, 2024
  • Deadline to submit written questions: Due Wednesday, April 3, 2024, by 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time
  • Authority responses to written questions: Monday, April 8, 2024, by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time
  • Bids Due: Friday, April 12, 2024, by 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time*
  • Proposed Start Date: Wednesday, May 1, 2024
