Rolling Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (ROCIP) Services

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to procure a contract for Rolling Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (ROCIP) Services. The purpose of this procurement is to enter into an agreement with a firm that will provide the Authority all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform Rolling Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (ROCIP) services for future construction projects throughout the term of the subsequent Agreement.

This scope of work includes the responsibility for the selected Contractor to provide all necessary tasks to gather information about the project as required by the insurance companies to solicit insurance quotes which may require the Contractor to report site conditions and characteristics. The Contractor will provide submission materials to the Authority Contract Manager (ACM) for review and approval prior to distribution to underwriters.

The schedule for this procurement is as follows:

  • RFQ Release: Monday, July 15, 2024
  • Deadline to submit written questions: Due Friday, July 26, 2024, by 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time
  • Authority responses to written questions: Friday, August 2, 2024, by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time
  • Proposals Due: Wednesday, August 14, 2024, by 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time*
  • Notice of Proposed Award: Friday, August 30, 2024
  • Proposed Start Date: Sunday, September 01, 2024
